Company intelligence / Profile preview
Bank of Ireland is one of the largest financial services groups in Ireland. It provides a broad range of banking and financial services including retail banking, corporate banking, business banking, wealth management, insurance products, and treasury solutions. The group operates primarily in the Republic of Ireland but also has significant operations in Northern Ireland and Great Britain as well as international corporate activities across Europe and the US.
While not itself a life sciences or healthcare company, it does have investment activity supporting Irish medtech startups through its MedTech Accelerator Fund managed by Kernel Capital. However, this is an investment initiative rather than direct involvement in biotech or pharma R&D.
