Barrington Orthopedic Specialists is a private orthopedic and musculoskeletal care practice serving the northwest Chicago suburbs in Illinois. Founded in 1980, the group provides orthopedic surgery, podiatry, physical medicine and rehabilitation, physical and occupational therapy, work conditioning, functional capacity evaluations, MRI services, and urgent orthopedic care. Its physicians focus on evidence-based, largely procedure- and service-based treatment for conditions involving the knee, shoulder, hip, spine, foot and ankle, and hand and wrist. The practice operates multiple outpatient locations and an ambulatory surgery center, and as of January 1, 2026 it became an independent division within OrthoMidwest while continuing to operate under the Barrington Orthopedic Specialists brand.
