Battle Creek Health System was a major regional healthcare provider based in Battle Creek, Michigan, serving the residents of Calhoun County. Formed in 1988 through the merger of Leila Hospital and Community Hospital, it operated for over two decades as a joint venture between Trinity Health and the W.K. Kellogg Foundation. In July 2011, the system was acquired by Kalamazoo-based Bronson Healthcare and subsequently rebranded as Bronson Battle Creek. The facility provides a comprehensive range of medical services, including 24-hour emergency care, oncology services through its dedicated cancer center, and advanced diagnostic imaging. As part of the Bronson network, it continues to function as a full-service community hospital and a key employer in the region.
