Bayern International

Bayern International GmbH is a state-owned company of the Free State of Bavaria, Germany. It has been active for over 25 years as a key player in promoting Bavarian foreign trade and supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from Bavaria in their international activities. Its services include organizing participation in trade fairs, delegation trips, business trips, digital events, and maintaining the “Key to Bavaria” company database—which includes many companies from the biotechnology sector but does not itself develop therapeutics or diagnostics[3].

The organization plays an important role as an enabler for life sciences companies by facilitating networking, market entry support, and internationalization but does not conduct R&D or have its own clinical pipeline.
