Company intelligence / Profile preview
The Beaumont Commercialization Center was a for-profit innovation hub established by Beaumont Health (now Corewell Health) to accelerate the development and market entry of medical devices and healthcare technologies. Based in Royal Oak, Michigan, the center provided a comprehensive suite of services including prototype development, usability testing, regulatory approval preparation, and intellectual property management. It served as a bridge between clinical practitioners and industry manufacturers, leveraging the high-volume clinical environment of the Beaumont hospital system to refine product designs. Following the 2022 merger of Beaumont Health and Spectrum Health, the center's functions were integrated into the Corewell Health Innovations Office.
