Behavioral Health Initiatives

Behavioral Health Initiatives provides quality mental health and support services along with safe, affordable housing to individuals in West Tennessee. The organization is an affiliate of Carey Counseling Center, Professional Care Services, and Quinco Mental Health Center. It operates as an accredited member of the International Council for Helplines and answers all calls from the national "988" Crisis Helpline for twelve counties in West Tennessee[1][4]. BHI offers three levels of residential living facilities—Supportive Living, Congregate Independent Living, and Independent Apartments—for individuals diagnosed with mental illness who qualify under state guidelines[7].
