Beijing First Biochemical Pharmaceutical is the oldest biochemical pharmaceutical company in China, established in 1958 and originally affiliated with Beijing University. The company focuses on the development, production, and sale of biochemical drugs. Its key products—spleen aminopeptide, thymosin, and thrombin—were first developed and produced domestically by this company. Spleen aminopeptide oral solution has completed a Phase 4 clinical trial for prevention and treatment of seasonal allergic rhinitis in children[3].
