Overview
Shenogen’s lead compound Icaritin—a small molecule derived from traditional Chinese medicine—has demonstrated clinical safety and efficacy in phase II trials for advanced HBV-related hepatocellular carcinoma and has reached late-stage phase III trials. In January 2022, it received approval in China as a first-in-class therapy for certain indications. The company’s pipeline includes small molecules, antibody-based biologics, PROTACs, and oncolytic viruses targeting various cancers. BIO‑1262/SNG‑203 (FGFR4 inhibitor) was licensed from BioArdis for HCC/solid tumors with ongoing preclinical/early clinical development.
