Overview
Bellerophon’s lead program was the INOpulse® platform for targeted delivery of inhaled nitric oxide in various forms of pulmonary hypertension. The company’s pivotal Phase 3 REBUILD trial in fibrotic interstitial lung disease did not meet its primary endpoint but confirmed safety and tolerability. Other programs include completed or ongoing studies in PAH and PH-COPD. The Bioabsorbable Cardiac Matrix device failed to show efficacy in a large Phase 3 study for preventing heart failure after myocardial infarction[6][7][10].
