Benefit Management, LLC (BMI), also known as ValueHealth Benefit Administrators, was a third-party administrator (TPA) providing health benefit administration services to employers, providers, and payers across the United States. Based in Great Bend, Kansas, the company specialized in the development and administration of customized self-funded health plans, government risk-leveling programs, and value-based reimbursement models. BMI was acquired by Nueterra in 2014 to support its value-based healthcare strategy and connect consumers with providers more effectively. The company operated an online platform to streamline claims administration and strategic benefit planning. However, in August 2024, the company reportedly ceased operations and filed for bankruptcy, leading to the transition of its client groups to other administrators.
