Bengbu Bayi Pharmaceuticals was a Chinese pharmaceutical company based in Bengbu, Anhui Province, that specialized in the production of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs). As a subsidiary of the Anhui Bayi Chemical Group, the company leveraged an integrated industrial chain to become one of the world's largest manufacturers of paracetamol (acetaminophen). Its manufacturing facilities were located in the Bengbu High-Tech Development Zone and operated under strict Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards to serve both domestic and international markets. In 2009, the company's assets and operations were fully acquired by Anhui BBCA Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., a major publicly traded pharmaceutical group in China. Following the acquisition, the business was reorganized as Anhui BBCA Likang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., which continues to produce high-quality antipyretic and analgesic APIs. The company is recognized for its historical role in establishing Bengbu as a significant hub for chemical and pharmaceutical production in East China.
