Berlimed is a specialized pharmaceutical manufacturing subsidiary of Bayer located in Alcalá de Henares, Spain. The facility serves as a global center of excellence for the production of soft gel capsules, as well as liquid and semi-solid dosage forms. It plays a critical role in Bayer's global supply chain, manufacturing products for radiology, women's health, and consumer health. The site exports approximately 90% of its production to more than 120 countries across the globe. Berlimed is recognized for its high level of automation and adherence to stringent Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards. As a key industrial asset for Bayer in Europe, the plant continues to receive significant investment for capacity expansion and technological upgrades.
