Bertis (parent of Bertis Bioscience) has commercialized MASTOCHECK, a proteomics-based blood test for early detection of breast cancer that is approved by the Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety as an in vitro diagnostic and is offered in more than 500 medical institutions in Korea and is expanding into Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines.[2] Its PASS proteomics platform is used in preclinical and translational research, including supporting an exosome-based acute ischemic stroke therapy that obtained IND approval in Korea, and elucidating mechanisms for an obesity drug candidate HM17321.[2]
