BIK Therapeutics is an early-stage biotechnology company pioneering the development of Chimeric Antigen Receptor B-cell (CAR-B) therapies for the treatment of cancer. Spun out of the University of Pennsylvania, the company's proprietary B-cell Induced Killing (BIK) platform engineers B cells to directly identify and eliminate malignant cells while simultaneously acting as potent antigen-presenting cells to stimulate a broader immune response. This dual-action mechanism is designed to address the challenges of tumor heterogeneity and the immunosuppressive microenvironment that often limit the efficacy of T-cell-based therapies.
