Overview

Bio-Convert has developed QR‑02, a novel three-layered mucoadhesive patch delivering imiquimod directly to lesions in patients with moderate-to-severe dysplasia due to oral leukoplakia. The approach aims to reduce or eliminate precancerous lesions and lower risk of progression to cancer. Preclinical work and initial clinical proof-of-concept studies are underway/planned. The Danish Medicines Agency provided positive feedback on their development plan in April 2025. No published clinical results yet.
