Bio Holdings International is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Biocoral, Inc., an international biomaterials company specializing in tissue engineering. The company was established to hold and manage the intellectual property and patent portfolio for Biocoral, a natural coral-derived bone graft substitute used in orthopedic, dental, and maxillofacial surgeries. Biocoral's technology leverages the biocompatibility and resorbability of marine coral to promote bone regeneration in patients. Although the product has been used in over a million patients globally, the parent company, Biocoral, Inc., has largely ceased active operations and was delisted from public trading. Bio Holdings International remains the legal entity associated with the legacy patents and purification processes for these coral-based biomaterials.
