BioArk SA

BioArk SA is an active Swiss life sciences innovation hub established in 2003. It operates two major sites in Valais—Monthey and Visp—offering state-of-the-art facilities including laboratories, cleanrooms, pre-industrial platforms, and fill-and-finish capabilities. The organization focuses on fostering collaboration between academia, industry, startups, and government to accelerate biotechnology innovation. Over 130 institutions are part of its ecosystem. While not itself developing therapeutics or diagnostics products as a pipeline company would do, it plays a critical role in supporting SMEs and startups across the pharmaceutical manufacturing value chain.
