BioBud Co., Ltd. is a South Korean biotechnology company founded in 2000 as a spin-off from Yonsei University's College of Medicine and Department of Biochemistry. The company specializes in the development and commercialization of recombinant proteins and life science research reagents. Its flagship products include the ApoScan Annexin V-FITC apoptosis detection kits, which are widely utilized in oncology and cell biology research globally. BioBud also focuses on the production of recombinant batroxobin, a thrombin-like enzyme with applications in hematology and thrombosis research.
