Biohit Healthcare (Hefei), also known as Biouhan Biotechnology, develops and manufactures in vitro diagnostic devices and supporting instruments. The company specializes in gastric function testing for digestive diseases—its serum gastric function test was the first included in Chinese national guidelines for gastric cancer screening—and has developed a range of rapid antigen and antibody tests for COVID‑19. Its products have received international regulatory approvals including CE mark, US FDA EUA, SAHPRA approval, TGA authorization, and distribution to over 50 countries. The company operates one of the largest automated IVD production facilities in China with a daily capacity of about ten million tests.
