Biohorm

Laboratorios Biohorm is a Spanish pharmaceutical company that currently operates as a subsidiary of Almirall. Founded in 1945 and based in Terrassa, Spain, the company established itself as a significant player in the development of treatments for pain and inflammatory conditions. Its most notable achievement was the development and commercialization of aceclofenac, a widely used non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) marketed under brand names such as Airtal. In 1997, Biohorm was acquired by Almirall, a strategic move that significantly expanded Almirall's portfolio in the rheumatology and primary care segments. Today, Biohorm's legacy and products remain integrated within the broader Almirall group.
