BioHuman

BioHuman is a Brazilian biotechnology company specializing in regenerative medicine and tissue engineering. Based in the Supera Innovation and Technology Park in Ribeirão Preto, the company develops advanced biosynthetic skin substitutes and biological dressings for the treatment of complex wounds, such as chronic ulcers and severe burns. Its flagship technology, BioSkin, is a biosynthetic cellulose-based membrane that mimics the properties of human skin to promote accelerated healing and provide a protective barrier. BioHuman's products are designed to reduce patient pain and improve clinical outcomes in wound management. The company is a spin-off from research conducted at the University of São Paulo (USP).
