Bioinnovo is an Argentine biotechnology company specializing in the development of veterinary biologics and is the first public-private partnership between the National Institute of Agricultural Technology (INTA) and Vetanco S.A. The company focuses on IgY technology, which leverages egg yolk antibodies to provide passive immunity against enteric diseases in livestock, offering an alternative to traditional antibiotics. Their product portfolio includes Vedevax, the world's first recombinant subunit vaccine for Bovine Viral Diarrhea Virus (BVDV), and Bioinnovo IgY DNT for neonatal calf diarrhea. Bioinnovo operates a specialized manufacturing plant in Hurlingham, Argentina, dedicated to producing high-titer antibodies and recombinant proteins for animal health.
