BioKaiima is a joint venture between Israeli ag-biotech firm Kaiima Bio-Agritech and Mexican company BioFields, established in 2019 to revolutionize the castor oil industry in Mexico. The company focuses on the development, production, and commercialization of high-yield hybrid castor seeds using Kaiima's proprietary EP™ technology, a non-GMO breeding platform that enhances plant performance. By industrializing castor as a strategic crop, BioKaiima aims to provide a sustainable and scalable source of premium castor oil for biofuels, biolubricants, and other industrial bioproducts. The venture integrates advanced genetics and breeding technologies to support Mexican farmers and meet the growing global demand for sustainable agricultural solutions.
