Biologie et Industrie

Biologie et Industrie (B&I) was a French contract research organization (CRO) specializing in oncology clinical trials. Founded in 1984 by Dr. Rémy Brossel and headquartered in the Paris region, the company initially focused on developing monoclonal antibodies for breast cancer before transitioning into a full-service clinical research provider. B&I offered comprehensive Phase I through Phase IV trial management, including clinical monitoring, regulatory affairs, and biometry services for pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients. The company established a strong reputation for its expertise in early-stage oncology research within mainland Europe. In May 2008, Biologie et Industrie was acquired by Veeda Oncology, a subsidiary of the global CRO Veeda Clinical Research, to serve as its strategic hub for European operations.
