Overview
Biopharma Plasma is a leading Ukrainian pharmaceutical manufacturer specializing in human blood plasma-derived medicines. The company operates the only large-scale GMP-certified plasma fractionation plant in Ukraine and Eastern Europe, with capacity to process up to one million liters of plasma per year. Its key products include immunoglobulin, albumin, and the drug Bioven. During the COVID pandemic, it developed hyperimmune immunoglobulin from convalescent patients’ plasma and participated in international alliances for targeted therapies. Clinical trials are ongoing for some indications such as complex pneumonias including those caused by COVID.
