Biopolymer Engineering, Inc. (later known as Biothera) was a biotechnology company specializing in the development of immune-enhancing ingredients derived from a proprietary strain of yeast. The company's core technology centered on Wellmune WGP, a natural beta 1,3/1,6 glucan that primes the innate immune system to respond more effectively to pathogens. Its products were extensively researched through clinical trials to demonstrate benefits in respiratory health, stress management, and oncology.
