BioQuate is a bioprocess technology company specializing in single-use, disposable aseptic connection systems for the biopharmaceutical industry. The company's flagship technology, the Disposable Aseptic Connector (DAC), was developed to simplify and secure the transfer of sterile fluids in non-classified environments, eliminating the need for cleaning and validation. In 2008, GE Healthcare (now Cytiva) acquired the exclusive manufacturing and marketing rights for the DAC technology, integrating it into their ReadyToProcess portfolio as the ReadyMate DAC.
