Biosimilia is an Indian biotechnology startup specializing in the development of nanomedical products and homeopathic nosodes for managing infections and chronic diseases. Founded in 2020 by Dr. Rajesh Shah and Rupal Shah, the company utilizes the 'Similia' principle and potentisation to create ultra-dilute, nano-pharmacological substances. Its lead candidate, BioSimCovex, is a SARS-CoV-2 nosode that has completed Phase III clinical trials, demonstrating significant efficacy and safety in preventing COVID-19. Biosimilia's pipeline also includes nosodes targeting HIV, Hepatitis C, tuberculosis, malaria, and various cancers, developed in collaboration with premier research institutions like the Haffkine Institute and Tata Memorial Centre.
