Biotech Insight Ventures was a venture capital firm based in San Rafael, California, that specialized in early-stage investments within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and life sciences sectors. Founded and managed by Joel R. Smolen through Biotech Insight Management, the firm was active from the late 1990s through the 2010s.
