Biotechnology Business Associates

Boston Biomedical Associates was a U.S.-based full-service contract research organization and consultancy focused on medical devices, in vitro diagnostics, biologics, and combination products. Founded in 2000, the company provided clinical trial execution, strategic consulting, and related development services to medtech and biotechnology clients across multiple therapeutic areas, including orthopedics, cardiovascular, endocrine, and neurologic disorders. In January 2019, Boston Biomedical Associates merged with/was acquired by Factory-CRO Group, and the combined organization later rebranded as Avania. As a result, the legacy BBA brand appears to be inactive as an independent company, with its capabilities integrated into Avania's global medtech CRO offering.
