Biovaccines Nigeria

Biovaccines Nigeria is a public-private partnership between the Federal Government of Nigeria and May & Baker Nigeria PLC, established to revive domestic vaccine production. The company focuses on the development, manufacturing, and distribution of essential vaccines to support Nigeria's National Programme on Immunization. Its primary goal is to ensure national health security by reducing dependence on imported vaccines for diseases such as Yellow Fever, Hepatitis B, and Tetanus. Biovaccines Nigeria operates out of a facility in Yaba, Lagos, and is currently engaged in technology transfer agreements with international partners to localize production capabilities. The company aims to become a hub for vaccine manufacturing in the West African sub-region.
