BioVentures

BioVentures is the technology transfer office and business incubator of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas. It manages UAMS intellectual property, supports licensing and startup formation, and operates programs that help translate academic discoveries into drugs, diagnostics, devices, and health technologies. The organization also runs accelerator and entrepreneurship initiatives including AR Health Ventures Accelerator and the ACTIVE program for underserved health-tech founders. Rather than being a single-product biotech company, BioVentures functions as a commercialization platform connecting UAMS researchers, startups, investors, and industry partners. Its activities are focused on advancing biomedical innovation and strengthening the healthcare innovation ecosystem in Arkansas.
