Overview

Biovest developed BiovaxID, a patient-specific active immunotherapy (therapeutic cancer vaccine) for follicular non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. BiovaxID showed evidence for prolonged remission and immune response correlation in three clinical trials (including Phase 3), but was denied marketing authorization in the EU and the company’s stock was delisted in 2017 after bankruptcy proceedings[2][1][4][5].
