Company intelligence / Profile preview
BlackOxygen Organics was a Canadian wellness and multi-level marketing company that sold fulvic-acid-containing powder and tablet supplements derived from peat bog material in Ontario, Canada. The company marketed its products for broad wellness uses rather than developing regulated therapeutics, and it is not a biotech or pharmaceutical developer in the conventional sense. In September 2021, Health Canada announced a recall of its BlackOxygen tablets and powder, and in December 2021 the U.S. FDA advised consumers not to use Fulvic Care Powder and Tablets due to elevated levels of lead and arsenic. The FDA stated that the company went out of business on November 23, 2021. For biotech analyst purposes, this should be classified as a defunct supplement/MLM business rather than a drug-development company.
