Blackstone Medical was a prominent medical technology company specializing in the development and manufacture of spinal surgery solutions. Founded in 1996, the company offered a diverse portfolio of spinal fixation devices, including pedicle screws, rods, and interbody spacers, alongside a specialized biologics line featuring the Trinity cellular bone matrix. Blackstone's products were designed to treat a variety of spinal disorders such as degenerative disc disease, scoliosis, and spinal stenosis. In September 2006, the company was acquired by Orthofix International for approximately $333 million.
