Blood Assurance

Blood Assurance is a nonprofit, full-service regional blood center based in Chattanooga, Tennessee that collects, tests, processes, and distributes blood and blood components for hospitals across Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Kentucky, and North Carolina. The organization operates fixed donor centers, mobile blood drives, and bloodmobiles, and it supplies routine and specialty blood products to healthcare facilities. In addition to core blood-banking operations, Blood Assurance has a cell therapy and research division called OurCEL Solutions that supports cellular therapy product collection and research-related activities. The organization also offers education and professional training in transfusion medicine, including a Specialist in Blood Bank program.
