Company intelligence / Profile preview
Bloodhound Technologies (later renamed Constitution Medical) was a medical diagnostics company that developed the Bloodhound™ hematology system, an innovative "lab-on-a-slide" platform. The system integrated digital imaging, morphology, and advanced algorithms to automate the complete blood count (CBC) and white blood cell differential process. By providing high-resolution images and automated analysis, the technology aimed to reduce the need for manual microscopic reviews and improve the speed and accuracy of hematological diagnoses. In 2013, the company was acquired by Roche for $220 million to serve as the centerpiece of its hematology testing business.
