Blue Haven Initiative

Blue Haven Initiative is an active, US-based family office and impact investment organization founded in 2012 by Liesel Pritzker Simmons and Ian Simmons. It manages a diversified global portfolio across asset classes—including public equities, fixed income, private equity, direct investments, and grants—with the goal of achieving both competitive financial returns and meaningful social/environmental impact. The firm invests globally with particular focus on Sub-Saharan Africa in sectors such as climate/clean energy, education technology, financial services/inclusion, affordable real estate, and healthcare. While it does invest in healthcare companies as part of its broader impact strategy, it is not itself a life science/biotech/pharma/healthcare company or platform.
