BlueOcean NutraSciences Inc. was a Canadian nutraceutical company that specialized in the development and commercialization of high-value specialty oils, primarily focused on shrimp oil-based Omega-3 products. The company leveraged its proprietary CO2 infusion technology to produce supplements such as Pure Polar and AstaSante, which were marketed for their superior bioavailability and high astaxanthin content compared to traditional fish oils. These products were designed to support cardiovascular, joint, and overall metabolic health through the enhanced delivery of essential fatty acids. In July 2018, the company underwent a strategic pivot and rebranded as CO2 GRO Inc. to focus exclusively on its CO2 gas infusion technology for increasing plant yields in the commercial greenhouse industry.
