Overview
Bonac’s lead program TRK‑250/BNC‑1021 targets TGF‑β1 for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and has reached Phase 1. Other programs are in preclinical stages targeting neoplasms/cancer (BNC‑1251), COVID‑19 (BNC‑1322), macular dystrophy via renin receptor inhibition (BNC‑1601), and liver cirrhosis via MIR29B1 modulation (BNC‑1602). The company’s proprietary platform enables the development of stable single-strand long-chain nucleic acids suitable for inhaled delivery to the lungs. Early in vitro results show promise for their COVID-related candidate.
