BoobyBiome has established the world’s first comprehensive database and biobank of the human breast milk microbiome. Their research shows that stored/pumped breastmilk rapidly loses beneficial bacteria compared to direct breastfeeding. The company has developed two main products—a baby bottle accessory that preserves the live bacterial content during storage/feeding, and a synbiotic supplement containing a community of beneficial bacteria plus prebiotics derived from human breastmilk.
