Boomitra operates a global soil carbon marketplace using proprietary AI and satellite technology to measure and verify soil organic carbon. The company enables farmers and ranchers worldwide to generate certified carbon removal credits by adopting regenerative agricultural practices. These credits are sold on voluntary and compliance markets; most revenue goes directly to landowners. As of 2024–2025, Boomitra has issued millions of credits across projects spanning over five million acres in 13 countries with more than 150,000 participating farmers.

Notable achievements include winning the 2023 Earthshot Prize (“Fix Our Climate” category) and completing landmark projects such as the URVARA Project in India—the largest Social Carbon Registry project to date—supporting over 12,000 smallholder farmers.
