Company intelligence / Profile preview
Braingrid was a Canadian precision-agriculture technology company focused on sensor-based cultivation analytics, particularly for cannabis growers and other controlled-environment agriculture users. The company offered wireless sensors, a communications gateway called Synapse, and cloud-based analytics software designed to capture real-time environmental data, generate alerts, and improve yield, cost efficiency, and risk management. Braingrid became publicly listed in Canada through a reverse take-over transaction involving Match Capital Resources Corporation in 2018. In 2021, the public company changed its name from Braingrid Limited to Tony G Co-Investment Holdings Ltd. and sold its wholly owned operating subsidiary, Braingrid Corporation, for nominal consideration as part of a change of business away from agtech. It is not a life sciences, biotech, pharma, or healthcare company.
