Bravo Bidco is a specialized holding company and subsidiary of Boston Scientific, primarily known for its role in the 2019 acquisition of the British healthcare firm BTG plc for approximately $4.2 billion. Through this acquisition, Bravo Bidco oversees a significant portfolio of interventional medicine and specialty pharmaceutical products. The company's interventional medicine segment focuses on oncology, vascular, and pulmonary treatments, including the TheraSphere Y-90 glass microspheres for liver cancer and the EKOS endovascular system for blood clots. Its specialty pharmaceuticals division provides critical care antidotes such as CroFab for snake bites and DigiFab for digoxin toxicity.
