BRC Recovery Family of Programs

BRC Recovery was a Texas-based behavioral healthcare and addiction treatment organization focused on adults with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. The business offered a full continuum of care including medical detox, residential treatment, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient services, sober living, and family recovery support. Its program portfolio included BRC Recovery, Makana Path, Spearhead Lodge, and Segue Recovery, with an emphasis on evidence-based treatment, 12-step programming, trauma-informed care, and brain-based therapies such as neurofeedback. Founded in 2006, the organization was recapitalized in 2020 by Veronis Suhler Stevenson and NewSpring Health Capital under the BRC Healthcare holding structure. However, BRC Healthcare and related companies reportedly ceased operations in January 2024, with Segue Recovery continuing under new ownership.
