Breast Cancer Campaign

Breast Cancer Campaign was a prominent United Kingdom-based charity and research funding organization focused exclusively on breast cancer. Established in 1988, the organization's primary mission was to support world-class research to improve the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of breast cancer. It funded a wide array of projects, including the establishment of the Breast Cancer Now Tissue Bank, the UK's first national breast cancer tissue bank. In 2015, Breast Cancer Campaign merged with Breakthrough Breast Cancer to form Breast Cancer Now, which became the largest breast cancer charity in the UK. The organization was instrumental in advancing the understanding of breast cancer genetics and developing new therapeutic strategies.
