Brighter Ideas, Inc. was a specialized biotechnology company and contract research organization (CRO) based in Metuchen, New Jersey, that focused on the development and production of antibodies and reagents for fluorescent protein research. Founded by Dr. William Ward, a professor at Rutgers University and a pioneer in the study of Green Fluorescent Protein (GFP), the company provided high-quality GFP antibodies and related protein purification services to the global research community. In addition to its product catalog, Brighter Ideas offered contract research services, including high-throughput screening and antibody optimization. The company's core antibody and protein assets were eventually acquired by Nordic-MUbio, and the company is currently considered inactive.
