Overview
The BrioVAD® System, a next-generation left ventricular assist system featuring a fully magnetically suspended blood pump and patient-centric design, has entered clinical evaluation in the U.S. through the INNOVATE trial. Over 350 patients outside the U.S. have been treated with systems incorporating this technology. The INNOVATE trial aims to assess safety and effectiveness compared to standard-of-care LVADs for advanced refractory left ventricular heart failure. The system remains investigational and not yet FDA approved.
