BriSTAR Immunotech Limited is an active private Chinese biotech founded in Beijing/Toronto in March 2018 by Prof. Lin Xin’s team from Tsinghua University. The company develops next-generation engineered cellular immunotherapies targeting cancer and viral diseases via proprietary STAR–T/enTCR–T platforms that combine advantages of both CAR–Ts and natural full-length T cell receptors to improve efficacy against hematologic malignancies as well as solid tumors—a major challenge area for current cell therapies. Its lead assets include dual-targeting CD19/CD20 (STAR‑T) now Phase I trialed against r/r B-NHL and LILRB4 (STAR‑T), which holds US orphan drug status for AML with early positive safety/efficacy data from investigator-led studies presented at top scientific congresses. The pipeline also includes additional undisclosed solid tumor candidates plus preclinical antiviral programs leveraging the same core technology base.
