British Urological Foundation

The Urology Foundation (TUF) is the leading UK charity dedicated to all urological conditions, including cancers of the prostate, bladder, and kidney, as well as non-malignant conditions like incontinence and kidney stones. Established in 1995 as the British Urological Foundation, the organization invests in ground-breaking research, clinical training, and education to improve patient outcomes and surgical skills. TUF pioneered the introduction of robotic urology surgery in the UK and continues to fund fellowships and research grants for urologists and nurses. The foundation also runs awareness campaigns, such as Urology Awareness Month, to improve public understanding of urological health. It operates as a company limited by guarantee and works in close partnership with the British Association of Urological Surgeons (BAUS).
